About us
Shonen TCG is an independent anime TCG publication with one goal: give players the deck guides, set reviews, and card values they actually need, without hype, sponsored bias, or corporate spin.
The anime TCG space moves fast. New sets, meta shifts, card price swings, tournament results. Shonen TCG exists to cut through the noise and tell players what matters, quickly and accurately.
We believe anime trading card games deserve the same depth of coverage as blockbusters, without the PR spin. Our reviews are independent, our guides are tested, and our news is verified before it goes live.
No paid coverage, no sponsored editorial. Our review scores reflect our genuine experience: a 6/10 means what it says.
We write for people who actually play games, not shareholders. Every guide, news story, and review starts with 'what does the player need to know?'
Release dates, patch notes, developer statements, and pricing are independently verified before publication. We correct errors in place and note what changed.
We cover One Piece TCG, Union Arena, and anime trading card games with the depth they deserve. No filler, no speculation without sources. Deeper than the big gaming outlets that treat TCGs as afterthoughts.
Shonen TCG focuses on anime trading card games — One Piece TCG, Union Arena, and the growing category of IP-driven TCGs that mainstream gaming outlets don't cover deeply enough:
