All 16 One Piece TCG sets from OP-01 to OP-16: English release dates, arc coverage, and which sets are worth buying for competitive play or collecting.

All One Piece TCG sets in order: that's what this page is. Sixteen booster sets released in English from December 2022 to June 2026, covering four years of competitive history and the entire One Piece universe.
Knowing which One Piece TCG sets exist, what arc each one covers, and which are still relevant matters whether you're a new player deciding where to start or a collector tracking what's worth hunting. Each entry below includes the EN release date, arc coverage, and notes for competitive players and collectors.
TL;DR: 16 main booster sets released in English from December 2022 to June 2026. Sets release quarterly. OP-01 Romance Dawn launched the game with 121 cards. OP-15 Adventure on Kami's Island (April 2026) introduced a Treasure Rare tier above Manga Rare. OP-16 The Time of Battle launches June 12, 2026. Older sets have secondary market prices above MSRP; only the current and previous 2-3 sets are typically available at retail.
Sixteen booster sets, four years, six Manga Rare leaders per set on average. The game moves at a quarterly release cadence, which means one major booster every three months. Starter Decks and Extra Boosters release in between but aren't covered here.
These four sets built the game from scratch. The design philosophy prioritized clear rules and recognizable characters over complex mechanics. The card pool from this era still sees play in older leader archetypes.
OP-01: Romance Dawn. EN release: December 2, 2022. 121 cards. The debut set, covering the core One Piece universe without focusing on a single arc. Leaders from OP-01 include Monkey D. Luffy (Red), Roronoa Zoro (Green), Nami (Blue), and several others. Four Starter Decks (ST-01 through ST-04) launched simultaneously. For collectors, OP-01 Manga Rares have appreciated significantly and sealed boxes trade well above original MSRP.
OP-02: Paramount War. EN release: March 10, 2023. 121 cards. Despite sharing its name with the arc, OP-02 pulls broadly from the Marineford era and the Whitebeard Pirates storyline. Whitebeard, Ace, and Marco get major representation here. Portgas D. Ace (Red) is one of the most played leaders from this set and remains relevant in later formats. Collectors note: OP-02 was one of the most purchased sets in the game's first year.
OP-03: Pillars of Strength. EN release: June 23, 2023. 121 cards. Coverage spans East Blue, Water Seven, and Whole Cake Island arcs. This set added the Straw Hats in their full crew with strong character options for Sanji, Robin, and Franky. Nami-based leaders from OP-03 are notable for their long competitive shelf life.
OP-04: Kingdoms of Intrigue. EN release: September 22, 2023. 121 cards. Focuses on the Alabasta and Dressrosa arcs. Crocodile (Black) gets his leader card here, and the set introduces the Baroque Works crew alongside Dressrosa royalty. Black Crocodile remains a viable Tier 2 leader in current OP-15 format, making this one of the most "evergreen" competitive sets in the game.
OP-05 through OP-08 cover the period when the English One Piece TCG competitive scene developed its identity. Regional events became more organized, Limitless TCG tracking became standard practice, and the meta discourse matured.
OP-05: Awakening of the New Era. EN release: December 1, 2023. Covers Skypiea and the Revolutionary Army. The Skypiea characters appear here first, with Enel receiving an earlier card version that laid the groundwork for the OP-15 leader iteration. Revolutionary Army leader options add Dragon and Sabo to the pool.
OP-06: Wings of the Captain. EN release: March 8, 2024. Sanji and Zoro take the spotlight, with leader options for both. The set leans into the Monster Trio dynamic and introduces strong Event cards that see play in multiple formats. For new collectors, OP-06 single cards are still available through the secondary market at reasonable prices.
OP-07: 500 Years In The Future. EN release: June 28, 2024. One of the most mechanically interesting sets: it covers the Egghead Arc, the most recent storyline in the One Piece anime at the time of the set's design. Vegapunk, Luffy's Gear 5 form, and the Ancient Robots appear here. Gear 5 Luffy is a collector chase card from this set.
OP-08: Two Legends. EN release: September 20, 2024. Silvers Rayleigh, Roger Pirates crew members, and various legendary pirate crews. The "two legends" framing refers to Roger and Whitebeard meeting in the New World. Multiple leader options from this set remain competitive. OP-08 Manga Rares have held value better than average.

This period includes the game's third anniversary and a noticeable increase in set complexity. More cross-set synergies, more niche archetype support, and a larger pool of viable competitive decks.
OP-09: Emperors of the New World. EN release: December 6, 2024. The four Emperors (Big Mom, Kaido, Shanks, Blackbeard) get their most extensive card support. Yamato appears as a Yellow leader with a control-oriented gameplan. Shanks (Green) from OP-09 becomes one of the most-played leaders in the OP-14 and OP-15 formats, part of the Luffy-Shanks-Yamato top tier that defined the pre-OP-15 meta.
OP-10: Royal Blood. EN release: March 7, 2025. Themed around Punk Hazard. Trafalgar Law (Purple) and Smoker get notable cards here. Law's leader version from OP-10 sees extended competitive play across multiple formats. For new players looking to understand the Purple color philosophy, OP-10 is a useful set to study.
OP-11: Lightning-Sharp Fists. EN release: June 6, 2025. Focus on sword-wielding characters across multiple arcs. Mihawk gets his competitive leader card here. Green Mihawk from OP-11 is currently a Tier 2 leader in the OP-15 format with a 60% win rate in 50+ games. The sword tribal package is one of the tighter mechanical themes the game has produced.
OP-12: Legacy of the Master. EN release: August 22, 2025. Set design around mentorship and lineage themes, with cards connecting student-teacher pairs across the anime. Black Imu's dominant OP-12 version dropped from near-Tier 0 to Tier 2 in the OP-15 meta; it's still a strong card but the field caught up.
The simultaneous worldwide release model starts with OP-14, ending the Japanese format preview period. Sets in this era also introduce higher rarity tiers.
OP-13: Carrying on His Will. EN release: November 7, 2025. Celebrates the game's third anniversary. The Portgas D. Ace tribute arc and the "three brothers" theme (Luffy, Ace, Sabo) drive the set design. Multiple leader options for Sabo appear here. Anniversary sets in TCGs typically sell through faster than standard sets; OP-13 boxes are harder to find at retail six months out.
OP-14: The Seven of the Azure Sea. EN release: January 30, 2026. First set released simultaneously worldwide. Covers the Seven Warlords of the Sea across multiple arcs. Doflamingo, Crocodile (alternate version), Hancock, and Mihawk all receive new card support. The simultaneous release model changes the meta discussion: no more Japanese tournament data preview window before EN launch.
OP-15: Adventure on Kami's Island. EN release: April 3, 2026. 159 cards plus Treasure Rare. The Skypiea arc gets its full treatment. Purple Enel (OP15-058) is the dominant leader in the current format at 67.9% win rate. OP-15 introduced the Treasure Rare rarity above Manga Rare, which is the new collector chase tier. Simultaneous worldwide release.
OP-16: The Time of Battle. EN release: June 12, 2026. The Paramount War arc in full: Marineford, the Fleet Admiral, the War of the Best. Six leaders including Akainu (Red), Marco (Yellow), and Buggy (Purple). Pre-release testing has Akainu at 62% win rate. This is the set One Piece fans have been asking about since OP-01. Four years to get here.

For competitive players, you need cards from roughly the last four sets for the most up-to-date meta options. Cards from OP-09 onward still see regular play. Older individual single cards can be found on TCGPlayer or CardMarket without buying full boxes.
For new players starting out, OP-15 and OP-16 are the most accessible entry points. Current Starter Decks (ST-series) use modern mechanics and are designed around the current meta. Buying an older set's boxes to learn the game is less efficient than buying a current Starter Deck and singles for your chosen leader.
For collectors, the value hierarchy generally runs: OP-01 and OP-02 Manga Rares at the top (first-year scarcity), followed by OP-15 Treasure Rares (new rarity tier, high initial demand), then chase cards from OP-07 (Gear 5 Luffy) and OP-08. Mid-series sets OP-03 through OP-06 are the most complete-able at reasonable cost.
How many One Piece TCG sets are there? As of June 2026, there are 16 main booster sets in English: OP-01 Romance Dawn through OP-16 The Time of Battle. Bandai also releases Extra Booster packs (EB series), Starter Decks, and premium products alongside the main sets, bringing the total product count much higher.
What was the first One Piece TCG set? OP-01 Romance Dawn was the first One Piece TCG booster set. It launched in Japan in July 2022 and in English in December 2022, containing 121 cards plus four Starter Decks (ST-01 through ST-04) released alongside it.
Which One Piece TCG set has the best pull rates? Pull rates vary by set but Manga Rare cards typically appear at 1 per 72-96 packs across most sets. OP-15 Adventure on Kami's Island has 159 cards plus a Treasure Rare tier above Manga Rare. Early sets like OP-01 have fewer total cards which can make specific commons and uncommons easier to complete.
Are older One Piece TCG sets still worth buying? For collectors, yes. OP-01 Romance Dawn and OP-02 Paramount War Manga Rares have appreciated significantly since launch. For competitive play, you only need sets with currently legal cards. Budget buyers should note that most older set boxes are out of print and trade at secondary market prices above original MSRP.
When does OP-16 release in English? OP-16 The Time of Battle releases in English on June 12, 2026. MSRP is $4.99 per pack. The set covers the Paramount War arc with six new leaders including Akainu, Marco, and Buggy.
What arc does each One Piece TCG set cover? Sets pull from across the entire One Piece timeline. OP-01 is a general introduction. OP-02 and OP-16 both cover Paramount War era characters. OP-07 covers Egghead Arc. OP-15 covers Skypiea. OP-04 covers Alabasta and Dressrosa. The sets are not a direct chronological adaptation of the anime.
