Riftbound Radiance Release Date: Products, Prices, Card List

Updated October 19, 2026: rewritten after Riot's final overview update (October 16). Added Riot's product prices, today's market prices, the Showdown decklists and the complete card list, and corrected the set size and the 2027 set details.

Riftbound Radiance release date and key dates

Radiance is Riftbound's fifth set. Previews ran from September 25 to October 9, and Riot says the October 16 update to its Radiance overview is the last one: the whole set is public now.

Radiance products and prices

Riot's store prices come from its Radiance drawing FAQ. Riot doesn't sell single packs or the Vault in its store, so those two list prices come from the distributor via riftbound.org. Market prices are TCGplayer's on October 19, before release.

A display at list price works out to $5 a pack, so buying the box saves almost nothing over loose packs at list. The real saving is against the market: right now a display costs about $23 more than list, roughly a dollar extra per pack. That gap was much wider a month ago. RiftCompare logged the cheapest TCGplayer display at about $227 on September 24 and $149.97 on October 9. Supply is the catch, and one r/Riftbound reply sums up the mood: "im curious to how people get this even at local card shops mine sell out so fast" (u/KaiTheGuyAtWork).

Which Radiance product to buy

Showdown Decks, if you're starting out or have a friend to play with. It's the cheapest way to get two full decks, and both are playable out of the box. Riot published both lists on October 16. Seraphine is Mind and Order, a go-wide deck that runs her Signature spell Encore and the Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor that doubles as the Pre-Rift promo. Evelynn is Body and Chaos, with Last Caress and a K'Sante, Courageous.

A display, if it's near list price. Near list price, it's a fair way to open a lot of the set. At today's market price we'd wait: the premium already fell by a third or more in two weeks of pre-orders. If you play Constructed, singles are cheaper for any specific deck than either option. The Vault, only at list price. Six packs at the pack price come to about $30, so at list price the storage box, foil tokens and the full set of 36 Runes cost you about $5. At the current market price you'd be paying more than $13 extra for the box and the Runes, so skip it unless you can get it at list.

Don't chase the Ultimate Rare. Riot says it appears in about 0.025% of packs, with none guaranteed in any pack, box or case. That's one pack in 4,000, or roughly one display in 167. It's Packed Amphitheater, Riot's first showcase Battlefield, and Riot calls it rarer than the Unleashed Baron. Buy it as a single if you want it.

What's new in Riftbound Radiance

Three keywords and two card types, per Riot's overview:

• Deploy: gear you play only to a battlefield, where it gives its bonus. If an opponent holds that battlefield, the gear dies.
• Show Off: reveal a qualifying card from your hand or board to unlock an extra effect on the card you're playing.
• Disarm: lowers an enemy unit's Might as you attack. It works like Assault, and each instance stacks.
• Equipment Units: Orianna's Legend turns equipment into units. An Equipment that becomes a unit is unequipped first.
• Bomb tokens: Ziggs' gear tokens, and the more you play, the bigger the explosion.

Nine new Legends ship in the set: Ekko, Evelynn, Jarvan IV, K'Sante, Mordekaiser, Orianna, Riven, Seraphine and Ziggs. Each one also has an Overnumbered printing, and some of those come with the artist's signature. Neeko is the first neutral-domain Champion Unit, so she fits any deck. Collectors also get K/DA Special cards and Heartsteel Overnumbers. For each Legend's Domains and full text, see our Radiance Legends list.

Radiance card list and pack contents

Riot's card gallery now lists all 167 main-set cards, from RAD-001 to Neeko at RAD-167, plus the showcase printings. Riven's Legend, The Exile (RAD-149), is listed with the same text as its preview. Riot's July announcement counts 167 cards with 61 Showcase, while its store copy says packs pull from 180 cards with 66 Showcase. Both are Riot's numbers; the main numbering stops at 167.

Each pack has seven Commons, three Uncommons, a foil slot (Common to Epic), a Rare or Epic, one slot that can be a Rare, Epic, Alt Art, Special Alt, Overnumber or the Ultimate Rare, and a Token, Rune or Alt Art Rune.

After Radiance: Legacy and The Reckoning

Set 6, Legacy, follows on January 29, 2027, with 239 cards (93 Showcase). Its packs swap one Common for a slot that's either a Legend or a Battlefield. Set 7, The Reckoning, is due April 30, 2027.

Our take

Radiance is an easy set to start on: two playable decks for about $35, out the same day as the boosters. We'd start there, take a Pre-Rift seat this week if your store still has one, and buy Constructed staples as singles once prices settle. The display only makes sense close to its $120 list price, and the Vault only at list price.
