Is FB10 still legal after FB11?

Yes. Bandai's rules page, last updated September 4, 2026, has no rotation schedule or set cutoff. The current banned and restricted list took effect in March 2026, three months before Cross Force came out, and every card on it is from FB01, FB02, FB04 or Manga Booster 01. The next booster, FB12 Reach the God, is due December 18, 2026.

So an FB10 deck you built in June is still legal today, as long as it follows the normal deck rules. Our Dragon Ball Fusion World standard format guide has those rules and the full list.

The FB10 rules you need: Ki, Evolve and Super Combo

Cross Force is built around two mechanics, and both have rules that catch people out. A third keyword in the set changes how you build the deck.

Ki. Ki is an energy marker placed under a card. It can't be removed to pay for energy, and it doesn't count when a card asks whether you "have an energy marker." When a card leaves the Battle Area, the Ki under it goes too. Three of the five FB10 Leaders (Son Goku, Son Gohan: Youth/Piccolo and Boujack) count Ki in their text, so a KO on the wrong Battle Card can undo a turn of setup.

Evolve. You can only declare Evolve with the Evolve card in your hand, after paying its cost and choosing a Battle Card in your Battle Area that meets its conditions. The Evolve card is then played on top of the chosen card. If the chosen card leaves the Battle Area before Evolve resolves, Evolve fails. Playing a card this way counts as playing it with a skill, which matters for cards that care how a card entered play. Our Evolve mechanic guide has worked examples.

Super Combo. Some FB10 cards, such as the Vegito Battle Card FB10-041, carry Super Combo, and a deck can hold at most four cards with that keyword in total. That's four across all Super Combo cards, not four of each. FB10-041 itself gets +10000 combo power when you combo it from your hand on your opponent's turn.

The five FB10 Leaders

Cross Force came out in English on June 12, 2026, with 123 card types and five new Leaders. Bandai's product page sums up each one.

• Son Goku FB10-001 awakens with 2 Ki in your Battle Area and hits 30,000 power when attacking if he has Ki once awakened. Our Son Goku Ki deck guide.
• Son Goku/Vegeta FB10-025 awakens at 4 Life or less and becomes Vegito, gaining +10,000 power for each card under one of your Evolve cards. Our Vegito deck guide.
• Son Gohan: Youth/Piccolo FB10-049 awakens at 3 Life or less or with 3 Ki, then feeds Ki to Son Gohan cards and makes Piccolo cheaper. Our Gohan deck guide.
• Boujack FB10-073 awakens at 4 Life or less or with 2 Ki on himself. Our Boujack deck guide.
• Cell FB10-097 awakens at 5 Life or less, then once a turn pays 1 to play up to 2 Android-only Battle Cards with a combined cost of 2 or less, setting up his Evolve. Our Cell deck guide.

Not everyone was impressed by the set's balance. In an August thread asking whether the FB10 meta had turned out fine, u/Tiago460 pointed at the set before it: "Set 9 brought some insane powercreep."

What FB10 costs in October 2026

TCGplayer market prices on October 20, 2026:

An FB10 box costs about $48 more than a box of the newer set. That isn't new: back in June, u/redblu91 complained that "Paying $200 plus dollars for a box is got dang scummy behavior," and the market price is still above that mark today. The Leaders themselves cost less than a dollar each.

Our take: if you want to play an FB10 deck, buy the Leader and the singles. A Cross Force box is a collector's purchase at this price, and the Leaders cost under a dollar. If you're choosing between sets to open, FB11 is the cheaper box.
