FB12 Reach the God: Release Date, Price and First Cards
Six days behind Japan, not five weeks. And Bandai is bringing the Dragon Balls back.
Our callFB12 Reach the God lands December 18, 2026 in English at $4.99 for 12 cards, six days after Japan. Pre-order packs at MSRP; the Dragon Ball Sorbet deck looks slow until more mill is revealed.
FB12 Reach the God comes out in English on December 18, 2026, at $4.99 for a 12-card pack. Japan gets it six days earlier, on December 12. That's a normal gap again after FB11, which reached English stores five weeks after Japan. If you pre-order, pay MSRP: there's no card list yet, so nobody knows what a box is worth.

What's confirmed for FB12
| English | Japanese | |
|---|---|---|
| Release date | December 18, 2026 | December 12, 2026 |
| Price per pack | $4.99 | ¥240 |
| Cards per pack | 12 | 6 |
| Card types | 123 | 123 |
Bandai's English product page and its Japanese one give those numbers. Both list 123 card types, the same count as FB11. An English pack holds twice the cards of a Japanese one, so per card it works out to about 42 cents in English and ¥40 in Japan. Neither Bandai card database lists an FB12 card yet: the newest set in both, as of October 26, is FB11.
Two starter decks come with it. FS13 The Saiyan Raised on Earth and FS14 The Prince of Saiyan are out in Japan on December 12 at ¥1,650 each, but English players wait until January 22, 2027, at $15.99 each, according to the English products list.
Six days behind Japan, like most sets
We lined up the English and Japanese release dates for every booster since FB06 from Bandai's two product lists.

| FB07 | September 13, 2025 | September 19, 2025 | 6 days |
| FB08 | December 13, 2025 | December 12, 2025 | English 1 day first |
| FB09 | March 14, 2026 | March 13, 2026 | English 1 day first |

| FB11 | September 12, 2026 | October 16, 2026 | 34 days |

FB11 was the odd one out. FB12 puts English back within a week of Japan, so there's little Japanese play to learn from before the English release. The English pack price has been $4.99 since FB06. The Japanese pack went from ¥220 to ¥240 with FB11.
The first FB12 cards: the Dragon Balls are back
Image credit: Bandai reveal images via r/dbsfusionworld (posts of September 26 to October 22, 2026).
Bandai has been revealing FB12 cards since late September. Four of its reveal images, reposted to r/dbsfusionworld, show where the set is going.
Sorbet / Golden Frieza (FB12-097). A Leader with a 15000-power front. Its When Attacking draws one card, then puts the top three cards of your deck into the Drop. It awakens into Golden Frieza (20000) once you have seven cards with Dragon Ball in their special traits in your Drop. Both sides say you "will not lose the game even if you have 0 cards in your deck", and Golden Frieza can play a cost-5 Frieza from your Drop once your deck is empty, then shuffle your whole Drop back in.
Dragon Ball (FB12-119). A 0-cost Extra Card. Its Dragon Ball keyword lets you run as many cards with Dragon Ball as you like, same number included, as long as the total doesn't exceed seven. When used in battle it puts your top card into the Drop and gives your Leader +10000 for that battle.
Majin Buu: Kid (FB12-068) evolves from a cost-3 or cost-4 Majin Buu: Evil. If your Leader has Majin in its traits, you can send it to the Drop to KO a cost-7-or-less Battle Card. Beerus (FB12-062), a 3-cost 20000, makes your opponent KO one of their own cost-2-or-less Battle Cards when it's played. If that card cost 1 or less, you add your top card to your energy.
The Reddit thread on the Sorbet reveal liked the idea and doubted the deck. u/fbanda put the case for it: "The fact that this Leader actually attacks makes it immediately better than Shenron, so it's okay if the revival isn't the whole focus." u/QuietRedditorATX wasn't sold: "I love the theme of this one. I don't see at all how this can be good".
How fast does Sorbet awaken?
Seven is the most Dragon Ball cards a deck can hold, and Sorbet needs seven in the Drop. With FB12-119 as the only Dragon Ball card shown so far, that means running all seven and getting every one of them into the Drop.
We ran it 100,000 times per play order: a 50-card deck with seven Dragon Balls, a 6-card opening hand, one draw per turn, Sorbet attacking every turn it can (the player going first can't attack on turn one), and every Dragon Ball in hand used during that attack. Nothing else in the deck mills. Sorbet awakened by turn 8 in 45.2% of games going first and 82.7% going second. The median was turn 9 going first and turn 8 going second. By turn 6 it was 6.8% and 15.1%.
That's slow. On the cards shown so far, Sorbet is a late-game Leader, and the deck needs more ways to fill the Drop than these two cards give it. We'd wait for the rest of the Frieza's Army cards before buying in.

How we checked this
On October 26, 2026 we read the FB12, FB11 and starter deck pages on Bandai's English and Japanese Fusion World sites, and took every release date since FB06 from both product lists to build the gap table. Card text is read off Bandai's reveal images. The awaken odds come from our script scripts/sims/dbfw-fb12-dragon-ball-awaken.py, 100,000 runs per play order, using the deck, hand, draw and first-turn rules in Bandai's Fusion World Comprehensive Rules (last updated September 12, 2026).
Our take
Pre-order FB12 at $4.99 a pack if you were going to buy it anyway, and don't pay more until there's a card list. The six-day gap means English players are basically on Japan's schedule again. As for the Dragon Balls, we like the theme as much as Reddit does. On what's been shown, Sorbet doesn't awaken until turn 8 or so, which is too late for a deck built to run itself out of cards. Start with our Fusion World guide if you're new, and check what FB11 Brightness of Hope did to prices in its first week before you budget for a box.
