Fusion World Regionals 2026: All 22 Wave 2 Dates and Prizes

Eight events left, and the season quietly runs into December. Top 16 is the line that matters.

5 min readBy Michael Riley

Our callWant a Finals invite in North America or Europe? Pick one of the four remaining events there and plan to make Top 16; don't count on FB11 being legal.

Eight Fusion World Regionals 2026 events are left as of October 15, and if you want a Finals invite in North America or Europe, a Top 16 finish at one of them is the bar. Bandai's official page lists 22 Wave 2 events across North America, Latin America, Oceania and Europe. Its header says "August - November 2026", but three of the remaining events are in December, which is easy to miss if you only read the header.

TL;DR: Wave 2 has 22 Regionals: 5 in North America, 5 in Latin America, 5 in Oceania and 7 in Europe. Eight remain from October 15, from Brisbane on October 17-18 to Wakefield, UK on December 19-20. Top 16 earns a Finals invite in North America and Europe only. North America's Finals is on January 9, 2027, and the Grand Finals is on March 14, 2027 for the card game.

Fusion World Regionals 2026: Quick Answer

The next Fusion World Regionals 2026 event is Brisbane, Australia on October 17-18, followed by Washington, DC on October 31. The last Wave 2 event is Wakefield, UK on December 19-20, 2026. Top 16 at a North American or European Regional earns an invite to that region's Finals in early 2027.

Overview: How the Fusion World Regionals 2026 Circuit Works

Bandai's Championship 26-27 has three levels. Level 1 is the Offline Regionals in Wave 1 or Wave 2 plus Store Championships. Level 2 is the Offline Finals in each region in the winter of 2026-2027. Level 3 is the Grand Finals, where Bandai says the winners "represent your region at the global stage." The top four at each regional Finals advance to the Grand Finals.

Every Regional requires a Bandai TCG+ account. The recommended format is Standard, and the official page sets out the match structure:

StageFormatMatch timeOvertime
Qualifying roundsBest-of-one35 minutes5 minutes
Top cutBest-of-three60 minutes10 minutes

Bandai adds that organizers may adjust the format for their community, so confirm with the organizer of your event.

The invite rule is the part to plan around. In North America and Europe, the Finals need an invite, and Top 16 at a Wave 2 Regional is how you get one. Bandai states that "Finals Invites are only awarded to North America & Europe players." Players in Oceania and Latin America are not covered by that line, and the Wave 2 page does not say how their Finals entry works, so check the Finals page for your region.

The other timing to watch is FB11. Bandai's product page lists Brightness of Hope [FB11] for release on October 16, 2026, with 123 card types and 12 cards per pack. The release lands one day before the Brisbane Regional. The product page does not state when FB11 becomes legal for Championship events, so do not assume it is legal at Brisbane or Washington, DC until the organizer or Bandai confirms it. Our FB11 set guide covers what is in the set, and Bandai's official trailer shows it:

What players are saying

Players who have already been through Wave 2 talk about the prize cards as much as the results. After Rotterdam, the runner-up posted on r/dbsfusionworld: "I managed to secure the 2nd Place in the Rotterdam Regionals with Gogeta BR." A reply picked out the Top 4 rewards: "That top 4 and playmat is something I'm eyeing for as a vegito collector" (Reddit comment). One player's result is not meta data, but it shows the Gogeta: BR deck reaching a Wave 2 final.

Our take

If you're in North America or Europe and want a Finals invite, the events left are Washington, DC on October 31 and Newark on December 5 in North America, plus Utrecht and Wakefield in Europe, and Top 16 is the bar. We'd pick the closest one and not wait for a later date to "get ready". The open question is FB11. It releases October 16, but no Bandai page we checked gives a Championship legality date, so build for Brisbane and Washington, DC without it unless your organizer says otherwise.

How we checked this

Every date, venue, prize and rule above comes from Bandai's Wave 2 Regionals, Championship 26-27 overview, Finals and FB11 product pages, checked October 8, 2026. The FB11 trailer is from the Official Bandai Card Games YouTube channel, and the player quotes come from r/dbsfusionworld. That is 3 independent sources. Last reviewed: October 8, 2026.
