Disney Lorcana Into the Inkdark Set 15 Preview: What We Know
Set 15 now has dates: prerelease February 5, release February 12. Villains lead, and Collector Boosters debut.
Our callPlan on standard boosters for play; Collector Boosters are a chase product for Illustrious hunters, and only 23 of each Illustrious card exist.
Disney Lorcana Into the Inkdark, Set 15, now has dates: Ravensburger lists the prerelease on February 5 and the release on February 12, 2027. It's the villains' set, led by Hades, and it's the first with Collector Boosters and the new serialized Illustrious rarity. If you play, standard boosters are still your product. Collector Boosters are for chasing.

Updated November 3, 2026: added a Collector Booster vs standard booster table, the 2027 calendar after Set 15 (Cosmic Quest in Q2, another set teased for late 2027), and where each product is sold. Ravensburger's product page still shows the same two Illustrious reveals and no Collector Booster price.
Updated October 16, 2026: Ravensburger's product page now shows the February dates, replacing the earlier Q1 2027 window, and a second Illustrious card, The Evil Queen - Commanding Presence. We also cut the duplicated summary and FAQ blocks.

| Collector Booster stores | Select Ravensburger Play Hub stores, Disney Parks and stores |
On November 3 the product page showed only the Collector Booster box and the two Illustrious cards. The prerelease lands 16 weeks after Hyperia City's (October 16, 2026), so Set 14 gets a full winter as the newest set; our Hyperia City chase cards page tracks what that set's top cards sell for in the meantime.

Collector Boosters and Illustrious
Every card in a Collector Booster is foil, and the odds of an Enchanted or Iconic card are higher than in a standard pack. Ravensburger's September press release says both pack types hold 12 random cards, and that each set will have 6 Illustrious cards found only in Collector Boosters.
Illustrious is the new rarity, and the first serialized cards in Lorcana: 6 per set and only 23 of each. Two are revealed. Maleficent - Biding Her Time is a 1-cost Dreamborn Villain Sorcerer illustrated by Kendall Hale. The Evil Queen - Commanding Presence is a 5-cost Floodborn Villain Queen with Shift 2, illustrated by Arch Apolar. Both are listed "Only in Collector Boosters."

Collector Booster vs standard booster
Here's what Ravensburger has actually said about the two packs, side by side. Where the two official sources word it differently, both are in the cell.
| Standard booster | Collector Booster | |
|---|---|---|
| Cards per pack | 12 randomized cards of all rarities | 12 randomized cards of all rarities, every one a premium foil |
| Illustrious (6 per set, 23 of each) | No | Yes, the only place they're found |
| Odds of Enchanted or Iconic | Normal | Higher, per the product page |

The store row is the one that matters if you live far from a Play Hub. A Collector Booster isn't a big-box product, so expect most people to meet it on the secondary market, which is exactly the worry the Reddit thread below is about.
Ravensburger hasn't published a Collector Booster price on the product page. A Collector Booster box price screenshot posted to r/Lorcana drew a lot of pushback, and u/savagesaskatch summed up the expectation: "Rare will be the opportunity to find it at MSRP". With six cards at 23 copies each, that worry about supply is fair. CGMagazine's Hyperia City review raised the same concern about packs that cost more for foil-only contents.
The Illumiteers got an interview with Ravensburger about how Collector Boosters work:
What's still unknown
No full card list, no card count, and no official Collector Booster price on the product page yet (checked November 3, 2026; Lorcast's set list stops at Set 14 too). Character reveals beyond Hades, Maleficent and the Evil Queen are coming through previews; until card text is out, any deck talk for Set 15 is guessing.
Rotation is the other open question. Ravensburger hasn't tied a Core rotation to Into the Inkdark on the product page or in its announcements; our rotation guide tracks the pattern of the last two rotations and what it would mean for your current decks.
After Set 15: Lorcana's 2027 so far
| Set | When | What Ravensburger has shown |
|---|---|---|
| Into the Inkdark (Set 15) | Prerelease February 5, release February 12, 2027 | Villains led by a Hades glimmer; Collector Boosters and Illustrious debut |
| Cosmic Quest | "Spring 2027" in Ravensburger's D23 and September news posts; "Coming Q2 2027" on its product page | Space exploration: a diner for aliens, a celestial reef, a station; glimmers of Ariel and Flounder, Stitch and his fellow experiments, and WALL-E and EVE for the first time |
| Unnamed | "Late 2027" | "A certain magical mayhem," the only hint so far |
If you're deciding what to save for, that's three sets on the 2027 calendar so far, and the Disney Parks Blog D23 recap says Collector Boosters will be part of every new set release beginning with Into the Inkdark.
Our take: preorder standard boosters or a Trove if you play, and wait for the card list before deciding how much. Treat Collector Boosters as a lottery for 138 serialized cards across the whole print run. That's thrilling to open on camera and a poor way to build a collection. If you want an Illustrious, buy the single later.
