The Disney Lorcana Snow White Seven Dwarfs deck is a wide Amber-centered build that turns cost reduction into repeated questing. This updated version separates the classic Rise of the Floodborn engine from current format legality and treats the newer Wilds Unknown Snow White as an optional splash, not as proof that the whole old list is still Core legal. If you are learning the game first, start with the Disney Lorcana starter decks guide.
TL;DR: The classic Dwarf characters and Snow White - Unexpected Houseguest are now Infinity Constructed pieces because Rise of the Floodborn and Shimmering Skies rotated out of Core in July 2026. Build the character base in Amber, then choose either an Amethyst splash for Snow White - Merry as the Morning or a Steel splash for Seven Dwarfs' Mine - Secure Fortress. The plan is simple: discount Dwarfs, keep several characters alive, and quest with a board instead of risking everything on one threat.
This is an Amber Dwarf swarm that wins by making several small quest actions matter at once. Snow White - Unexpected Houseguest discounts Seven Dwarfs characters, Doc - Leader of the Seven Dwarfs discounts the next character after he quests, and the rest of the tribe supplies bodies with different jobs. The classic engine belongs in Infinity Constructed after the 2026 rotation.
The important deck-building choice is color discipline. The character core is Amber. Snow White - Merry as the Morning gives you a useful Amethyst option, and Seven Dwarfs' Mine - Secure Fortress gives you a Steel option, but including both splashes would push the list beyond a normal two-ink deck. Pick the one that matches how you want to play.
The deck does not need one enormous character to generate all of its lore. It wants several Dwarfs in play so that a single removal spell or challenge does not erase the plan. That also makes the list easier to rebuild after a trade: a banished Dwarf is one lost body, not the whole engine.
Snow White - Unexpected Houseguest is the cleanest opening engine. She costs two Amber ink and says you pay one less to play Seven Dwarfs characters. That discount applies to the tribe rather than to one named version, so it supports the whole Rise of the Floodborn character package. Her 1/2 body is fragile, which means you should not treat her as a character to leave exposed for unnecessary challenges.
Doc - Leader of the Seven Dwarfs costs three Amber ink and has Share and Share Alike. Whenever Doc quests, the next character you play that turn costs one less. The timing matters. Quest first, then spend the discount on a Dwarf if your board and ink total let you add another body. Doc is more useful as an engine than as a fighter, so protect him when the opponent can remove him cheaply.
Bashful - Hopeless Romantic is a four-ink Amber character with a 2/5 stat line and three lore. His Oh, Gosh! restriction means he cannot quest unless another Seven Dwarfs character is already in play. That is a real sequencing constraint, not flavor text. Do not play Bashful as your only character and expect immediate lore. Once another Dwarf is down, his high willpower gives the deck a sturdier quester.
The result is a board that asks the opponent to answer several modest threats in the right order. The strategy is still vulnerable to sweepers and fast evasive starts, but it does not fold just because one Dwarf is challenged.
This real card composite is a general Lorcana visual, not a Snow White or Seven Dwarfs deck list.
GODEEPER: The rotation changes the cards you can register in Core, so compare the legality rules in the Disney Lorcana Core vs Infinity Format Guide before taking an older list to an event.
Start with the Amber characters. The exact count of every support card will depend on the rest of the list, but these are the pieces that define the plan:
There are two clean splash directions:
Do not treat the Mine as a free third color. If you choose Amethyst for Merry, leave the Steel location out. If you choose Steel, keep the rest of the support cards inside Amber and Steel. The official card identities, colors, costs, and abilities cited here are checked against the card references below.
GODEEPER: Amber's role changes depending on whether you are building around Support, Princesses, or a Dwarf tribe. Use the Disney Lorcana ink colors explained guide to compare the tradeoffs before filling the remaining slots.
Think of the list in layers rather than copying a fixed price list. The first layer is the Amber Dwarf engine: enough Snow White, Doc, and tribe members that your discount effects have targets every turn. The second layer is draw and recovery. The third is the splash package, which should support the plan without replacing the Dwarfs that make the discounts worthwhile.
A practical starting shell looks like this:
That is a construction framework, not a claim that one exact list is the only correct 60. Keep the inkable count high enough that a hand full of Dwarfs does not strand you. A hand with Snow White, two playable Dwarfs, and enough ink is more useful than a hand full of expensive recovery cards.
The first cut should usually be a splash card that does not help your chosen plan. The Amethyst version wants Merry to turn an exerted quest into a card and a protected Dwarf. The Steel version wants the Mine only if moving characters and dealing small amounts of damage matter in your games. Do not run both packages simply because each card is individually attractive.

1. Keep a two-ink opening plan. Keep Snow White - Unexpected Houseguest when the rest of the hand can play a Dwarf soon after her. Keep a low-cost Dwarf even without Snow White if the hand has a reasonable ink curve. Ship hands that contain only expensive characters and splash cards.
2. Build ink without emptying your engine. Put cards into the inkwell based on the next two turns, not on a wish to preserve every named Dwarf. You need enough ink to play Snow White or a two-ink body, then enough left over to use the discount on the following turn.
3. Establish a second Dwarf before Bashful. Bashful cannot quest alone. Play another Seven Dwarfs character first, then let Bashful become a three-lore threat once the condition is active. If the opponent can challenge the first Dwarf immediately, consider delaying Bashful until the board can protect both.
4. Quest with Doc before spending his discount. Doc's discount is attached to his quest trigger. Quest first, resolve the reduction, then decide whether the next character should be a cheap body, a support piece, or a response to the opponent's board. Playing the character before questing wastes the part of Doc that makes him valuable.
5. Choose one recovery line. With Merry, questing can return a Dwarf to your hand and draw a card, which protects a damaged body and lets you replay it later. With the Mine, move only when the damage changes a challenge or removal decision. Do not spend ink on movement just to trigger a point of damage.
6. Close with several quest actions. The deck wins by making the opponent answer a spread of characters. If the board is safe, quest with the characters that can survive a challenge or removal response. If a Dwarf is already exerted and exposed, do not assume its lore is worth losing the entire next turn.
7. Rebuild after the first trade. A single banished Dwarf is expected. Keep the discount engine or a hand of cheap replacements whenever possible, then refill the board instead of chasing a flashy challenge. The list is at its best when every turn presents another small decision.
This real card composite shows unrelated Lorcana characters and is retained as a general visual pending a confirmed Dwarf-specific asset.
The deck is comfortable against an opponent who spends a turn answering one character at a time. That does not mean targeted removal is harmless. Losing Snow White before she discounts several Dwarfs can set the list back, and losing Doc before his first quest removes the second acceleration point. Protect those cards when the opponent has shown a cheap answer.
Wide aggro is a race. Your Dwarfs have useful tribe text, but the individual bodies do not all win combat. Bashful's 5 willpower can absorb pressure after another Dwarf is in play, while Happy's Support and Grumpy's strength boost can make a favorable challenge possible. Do not turn every quester sideways if the opponent can punish the board before your next turn.
Evasive characters create a different problem. Characters without Evasive cannot challenge them, so the Dwarf player may need to race, use a removal card, or choose a splash that helps interact. The Mine can chip a character only when the movement requirement is paid, and Merry is a card-flow tool rather than a universal answer. Build the support package around the kinds of threats your local group actually plays.
The deck also loses time when its curve is too high. Well Wisher is a real recovery card: she is an Amber Floodborn character with Shift 4, and her quest trigger can return a character from your discard to your hand. That does not mean she belongs in every opening hand. Treat her as a later-game option, not as a reason to cut the cheap Dwarfs that make the early turns work.
One final failure case is mixing the splash plans. An Amber, Amethyst, and Steel list may contain interesting cards, but it is not a normal two-ink construction. Decide whether your games reward Merry's bounce and draw or the Mine's movement damage, then keep the remaining support cards inside those two inks.
The safest budget order is to buy the Amber engine before premium finishes. Common and uncommon Dwarfs give the list its tribal density, while Snow White - Unexpected Houseguest and Doc give it the discounts that make that density matter. Prices vary by region and finish, so do not treat an old under-$50 estimate as a promise.
Start with a Dwarfs-only Amber version if you are missing the splash cards. Add Merry when your games reward a card-draw loop and you can support an Amber and Amethyst list. Add the Mine instead when small damage and movement are relevant, and remember that its Steel identity means it belongs to an Amber and Steel list.
Snow White - Well Wisher is a later upgrade rather than a first purchase. Her Shift 4 can turn an earlier Snow White into a larger character, and her quest trigger recovers a character card from the discard. That is useful after a long game, but it does not replace the low-cost bodies you need to start questing.
Avoid paying for Enchanted versions to make the strategy function. The official card gallery treats alternate finishes as collectible versions, while regular copies carry the same gameplay text. Spend on the copies that improve the opening hands first, then upgrade finishes only if collecting is part of your goal.
What ink colors does the Snow White Seven Dwarfs deck use?
The character core is Amber. Snow White - Merry as the Morning is an optional Amethyst splash, and Seven Dwarfs' Mine - Secure Fortress is an optional Steel splash. Choose one splash at a time. Running Amber, Amethyst, and Steel together would not fit a normal two-ink construction.
Is the Snow White Seven Dwarfs deck competitive in 2026?
The classic engine is Infinity Constructed in September 2026 because Rise of the Floodborn and Shimmering Skies rotated out of Core. That does not make the deck unusable, but it does change where it belongs. Treat it as a casual or testing build unless your local event specifically uses Infinity and you tune for that card pool.
What is the cheapest version of the Snow White Seven Dwarfs deck?
Begin with common and uncommon Amber Dwarfs, then add Snow White - Unexpected Houseguest and Doc - Leader of the Seven Dwarfs. Do not rely on an old fixed budget figure. Language, condition, foil status, and local supply all change singles prices, so check current listings before deciding which upgrade comes next.
Which Seven Dwarfs card should I prioritize?
Prioritize Snow White - Unexpected Houseguest first because she discounts every Seven Dwarfs character by one ink while she remains in play. Doc - Leader of the Seven Dwarfs is the next engine piece. His quest trigger discounts the next character that turn, so he is strongest when you can develop another Dwarf afterward.
Does this deck work without Snow White cards?
Yes, but it becomes a slower Amber Dwarf swarm. Without Unexpected Houseguest, you lose the early cost reduction that lets the deck develop several bodies. The tribe still supplies Support, temporary strength boosts, and a spread of questers, but you need better ink planning and cannot expect the same turn-three acceleration.
How does the deck handle aggressive opponents?
Keep Bashful - Hopeless Romantic behind another Dwarf so his Oh, Gosh! restriction is active, then use his 5 willpower to make attacks less attractive. Quest with the safer bodies and challenge only when the trade improves the race. If the opponent goes wide with Evasive characters, removal or a fast lore race matters more than blocking.
Are there Snow White cards in Wilds Unknown?
Yes. Wilds Unknown had a May 8, 2026 prerelease and a May 15 wider release. Snow White - Merry as the Morning appears in an eight-card Snow White and Seven Dwarfs panorama, while the set's Enchanted cards use a Lore Nouveau art direction. Merry is a Core-legal Wilds Unknown card as of this audit.
