Union Arena Regionals 2026: Schedule, Results, Top Decks
Ten Regionals, one deck on top. Washington and Newark are about beating Solo Leveling.
Our callBring Purple Solo Leveling or a deck built to beat it; Yellow Evangelion is the only other title still winning and placing.
Two Union Arena Regionals 2026 events are left, Washington, DC on November 1 and Newark, Ohio on December 5, and Purple Solo Leveling is the deck you'll have to beat at both. It won five of the seven Regionals whose top-four lists Bandai has posted, out of ten North American events split across two waves. Those 28 finishes say more about the current format than any tier list, and the Wave 2 prize table decides who gets a North America Finals invite.

Key Takeaways
- Championship 26-27 has two Regional waves in North America, five events each, followed by the North America Finals in January 2027
- Wave 2's remaining events: Washington, DC on November 1, 2026 and Newark, Ohio on December 5, 2026
- Bandai has posted top-four decklists for seven Regionals; the October 3 Milwaukee results were not on the archive as of October 14
- Purple Solo Leveling won five of those seven and holds 7 of the 28 top-four spots
- Yellow Sakamoto Days reached the top four five times without a win
- Top 16 at a Wave 2 Regional earns an invite to the North America Finals
Overview: How the Union Arena Regionals 2026 Circuit Works
Bandai describes the Regionals as tournaments that "will determine the top player in the area and who will go on to compete for the title of North America's top player." The Championship has three parts: Offline Regionals Wave 1 (April to July 2026), Offline Regionals Wave 2 (August to December 2026), and the North America Finals (January 2027). Every Regional uses the Basic Rules regulation.
One detail matters if you travel: Bandai states that "players will not receive invites at tournaments outside their region." So a player from outside North America can enter, but the Finals invite is for North American players.

Analysis: What the Union Arena Regionals 2026 Results Show
Count the top-four spots by title and the picture is clear.
| Title (all colors) | Top-four finishes | Wins |
|---|---|---|
| Solo Leveling (Purple) | 7 | 5 |
| Evangelion (Yellow 4, Purple 2) | 6 | 1 |
| Sakamoto Days (Yellow) | 5 | 0 |
| Kagurabachi (Red 3, Purple 1) | 4 | 0 |
| Rurouni Kenshin (Purple 2, Red 1) | 3 | 0 |
| Jujutsu Kaisen (Purple) | 1 | 1 |
| Bleach: TYBW (Green) | 1 | 0 |
| Tokyo Ghoul (Purple) | 1 | 0 |
Solo Leveling still wins in Wave 2. It won the first Regional in April and took three of the top four in Toronto in September. Two of its five wins came in Wave 2.
Evangelion is the most consistent alternative. It is the only title other than Solo Leveling to win a Regional and still appear in Wave 2, with a Yellow build finishing third at both Gen Con and Toronto.
Sakamoto Days keeps losing in the final rounds. Five top-four finishes and zero wins suggest a deck that beats the field but struggles in the matches that decide the event. At Gen Con, its only Wave 2 top-four so far, it took 2nd and 4th behind a Solo Leveling win.
Kagurabachi and Kenshin have faded. Both had multiple top-four finishes in Wave 1 and none in the two Wave 2 results posted so far. Two events is a small sample, so that could change in Milwaukee or Washington.
For a wider view that includes store events and online play, see our Union Arena meta tier list. The Regional results above are a narrower but cleaner signal, since every finish is an official event with a posted list.

What to Watch Before Washington, DC and Newark
The Milwaukee results are the next data point. The event has been played: Team Sleeveless has posted a "Union Arena Milwaukee Regional Top 16 Deck Review" video on YouTube. Bandai's archive still had not posted the official top four when we checked on October 14. If Solo Leveling wins again, it will have taken six of eight Regionals. If Evangelion or Sakamoto Days breaks through, Washington, DC on November 1 becomes a far more open event.
There is also a new set in play: Bandai added Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation [UE30BT] to its product list on September 18, 2026. Whether it shows up at the last two Regionals depends on its release and legality dates, which we have not confirmed, so check the product page before you build around it.
What players are saying
The most detailed community coverage of these events comes from Team Sleeveless, a Union Arena content team that reviews the top decklists after each Regional. Introducing their Gen Con review on r/UnionArena, they wrote: "There were a small handful of new decks and many big meta decks so we wanted to see if there was any cool tech among them!" (Reddit post). Their Toronto review covers the event where Solo Leveling took three of the top four:
Our take
We'd bring Purple Solo Leveling to Washington, DC or Newark, or a deck built specifically to beat it; everything else still has to prove it can. Evangelion is the only other title with a win that is still placing in Wave 2, so it's the alternative we'd test first. Sakamoto Days has the strangest record (five top-four finishes, no wins): worth testing, not worth trusting in a final. Two Wave 2 events is a small sample, though, and the Milwaukee top four could change the picture.
How we checked this
Every date, venue, prize and placement above comes from Bandai's official Union Arena Championship 26-27 pages and Top-Placing Decks archive, checked October 8, 2026; we re-opened the archive on October 14 to confirm the Milwaukee top four was still missing. Community context comes from r/UnionArena and Team Sleeveless's YouTube channel. That is 3 independent sources. Last reviewed: October 8, 2026.
