Union Arena Re:ZERO EN Tier List: 7-Leader Snapshot

How we checked this: we pulled all seven of Bandai's recommended Re:ZERO lists through their Bandai TCG+ deck codes, priced each one on TCGplayer on October 16, 2026, and read the top-eight counts from UnionArenaDecklists, which logs public event lists from August 28 to October 12.

Updated October 16, 2026: The launch version counted 194 public lists from before release and gave no tiers. With a month of locals on record, we replaced it with real tiers, top-eight counts and prices for all seven Bandai lists.

The Re:ZERO tier list

Bandai put seven Re:ZERO lists on its Recommended Decks by Title page on September 10: three Yellow, two Blue, two Purple. Those are the seven decks below. Public list counts overlap (a Rem/Ram list counts on both hubs), so read the top-eight column first:

Top-eight counts come from public event lists on UnionArenaDecklists, so they're mostly locals and weeklies. That site's own board puts Rem in A, Emilia in B, Ram in C, and Beatrice and Crusch in D, across every set in the format. Our tiers rank Re:ZERO decks against each other.

Tier 1: Yellow Rem/Ram

Build it if you want to win with Re:ZERO. The deck cuts BP with Ram (011) and Rem (018), then Rem (020) Snipes anything left under 4000 BP. JWA called it before release: "Rem/Ram is the strongest deck in Re:ZERO and it's not really very close." Bandai's two Yellow Rem lists differ mostly in how much Ram they play; our Ram deck guide compares Bandai's list with one that won a weekly on October 7. Skip it only if you don't want to pay for four each of Rem (019) and Rem (020).

Tier 2: the Purple pair

Echidna/Emilia is the harder deck with the bigger ceiling. Emilia (090) costs 6 energy, takes 3500 BP off a front-line character When Played, and once per turn sidelines a character with 1500 or less BP and stands herself back up. Echidna (091) digs seven deep for Trial of the Sanctuary. Play it if you like long turns; skip it if you're new. Most of its $28.53 is four of the starter-deck Echidna (113).

Beatrice/Subaru is the bargain. Bandai's list cost $10.00, and its two Super Rares, Beatrice (077) and (078), were under 90 cents each. Beatrice (078) Raids for 4 energy, stands up a Subaru and draws if an ability played her. Five recent top eights for a ten-dollar deck is a good return; it's the first Re:ZERO deck we'd hand a new player.

Tier 3: the Blue pair and Yellow Emilia

Blue Subaru/Rem is the gap between hype and results. JWA ranked it second and 203 public lists play Subaru, but it has no row on the top-eight board, and it's the priciest of Bandai's seven lists at $62.74. JWA saw the problem coming: "Had Re:ZERO released much earlier in the English Version release cycle, Blue Subaru/Rem would likely have been fairly dominant of a deck." Wait for results before paying for it.

Blue Crusch/Ferris has two top eights and is the cheapest of the seven at $8.64. It's a fun removal deck that JWA put last of six, and the results so far agree with him. Yellow Emilia is the starter-deck upgrade at $16.16. It's a fine way to learn the set, and nobody is winning with it yet.

What could move the list

The Milwaukee regional on October 3 was the first with Re:ZERO legal, and its top four isn't on Bandai's page yet. If a Blue deck shows up there, Subaru/Rem jumps a tier. The next Wave 2 regionals are in Washington, DC on November 1 and Newark, Ohio on December 5. Bleach Vol.3 lands November 13 and will pull players away from Re:ZERO either way.

Our take

Build Rem/Ram if you want to compete with Re:ZERO, and pick up Beatrice/Subaru as a cheap second deck. We'd hold off on Blue Subaru/Rem until a regional top four says otherwise; it's the priciest list in the set, which is a lot to spend on a prediction.
