Union Arena Re:ZERO Emilia Deck Guide: Purple Build 2026
Purple Emilia is a sideline deck with a Raid finisher, and Bandai's own list is the one to copy.
Our callBuild it as your second Re:ZERO deck, not your first. Bandai's Purple list opens with a Raid Emilia and an Emilia to Raid onto in about 62% of hands, but there are no official Re:ZERO top-four lists yet and players still rate Yellow Rem and Ram higher.

This Union Arena Re:ZERO Emilia deck guide comes down to one call: copy Bandai's Purple recipe and play it as a sideline deck that finishes with a Raid Emilia. It's a fine second Re:ZERO deck. As your first, we'd still pick Yellow Rem: nobody has posted an official Re:ZERO top-four list yet, and when players were asked which Re:ZERO deck to build, they mostly picked Yellow.

Updated October 19, 2026: we replaced the community list with Bandai's own Purple Emilia recipe (revealed September 10) and re-read every card on the official card list. The old version called Emilia REZ-1-089 a middle-curve card; it's a five-energy Raid SR. It also left out Echidna REZ-1-091, the card that finds Trial of the Sanctuary.
The Union Arena Re:ZERO Emilia deck list
This is the Purple Re:ZERO list on Bandai's Recommended Decks by Title page. Bandai posted two Purple Re:ZERO recipes; the other one is the Beatrice and Subaru deck.

List: Bandai's Recommended Decks by Title, Purple Re:ZERO, via Bandai TCG+; card text from the official UNION ARENA card list, October 19, 2026. Every card costs 1 AP.
Echidna REZ-1-113 isn't in the booster. It's a UE24ST card, which caught people out at launch. In an r/Union_Arena_TCG thread about this exact deck, u/hgryhgryhippos pointed out that "It's in the starter deck", and u/jellyfishgardens17 replied: "I feel like it’s essential to the deck. guess i have to find some singles for it". Our Re:ZERO buying guide covers where the starter fits.
How the sideline engine works

Most of the deck puts cards into your own sideline on purpose. Emilia 083 files one of the top two cards, Echidna 092 draws and files, and Trial of the Sanctuary draws two and files one. That's the cost. The payoff is Trial's Color trigger, which plays a purple character with 2 or less required energy and 1 AP cost from your sideline onto the front line, active. So the cheap Emilias you filed come back for free.
Trial is the card the deck is built to find. Echidna 091 looks at the top seven for it, and Echidna 113 pulls a Trial back from the sideline. Trial can also rest a front-line character to ready an AP card, and I Love You Both readies two, so a good turn plays more than the AP you started with.
The Raid turn

The deck has two Raid Emilias, and they do different jobs. Emilia 089 (five energy) attacks through small blockers: nothing with 2000 BP or less can block it, and if it isn't blocked it rests one of the opponent's front-line characters. Emilia 090 (six energy) is the finisher. When played it takes 3500 BP off one front-line character for the turn. Then, once she's resting on the front line, she can sideline a character with 1500 BP or less, stand back up, and gain Impact 1 for the turn. That second attack is where games end.
Both need an Emilia already in play to Raid onto, so the cheap Emilias aren't just setup. If you're new to the mechanic, our Raid explainer has the timing.
How often the pieces show up
We shuffled Bandai's list 200,000 times and counted only the cards you see, with no mulligan and no draw or search effects, so real games do a little better.

A Raid Emilia plus an Emilia to Raid onto is in the opening hand about three times in five and by the tenth card four times in five. Trial of the Sanctuary itself is in the opening hand a bit under half the time. Count an opening Echidna 091 that finds one in its top seven and it's about three hands in five. So keep hands with a zero-cost Emilia or Echidna and don't panic about the Raid; it usually arrives on its own.
Results so far
There aren't any official ones. Bandai's Top-Placing Decks page has no Re:ZERO filter yet, so every Re:ZERO list you've seen is a recommendation or a local result. Until that changes, treat the list in this Union Arena Re:ZERO Emilia deck guide as a strong starting point, not a proven one. The most useful local footage we found is a store final from October 8, Blue Rem against Purple Emilia:
When someone asked r/Union_Arena_TCG which Re:ZERO deck to build at launch, the answers leaned one way. u/ImFxnix put it plainly: "The yellow rem ram snipe is prob the best Re:Zero deck tbh". Our Re:ZERO tier list has the same order: Yellow Rem and Ram first, Purple Emilia in the second tier.
What we'd change
Nothing yet. With no results to point at, we'd play Bandai's 50 as printed and learn which of the three Events you hold too long. If one has to go first, we'd look at I Love You Both: readying two AP is great on the Raid turn and close to blank before it. Don't cut Echidna 113. It's how you play the same Trial twice, and Trial is the whole engine.
How we checked this: on October 19, 2026 we read every card in Bandai's Purple Re:ZERO recipe on the official UNION ARENA card list and Bandai TCG+, checked the Top-Placing Decks page for Re:ZERO results, and shuffled the list 200,000 times with a short script.
