Union Arena Attack on Titan Vol.2 EN Tier List: Snapshot

How we checked this: on October 21, 2026 we read Bandai's Top-Placing Decks and Recommended Decks pages, the Union Arena Decklists fan tier list (updated October 17, built from hosted English event lists since September 2), and the official text of the cards below.

Updated October 21, 2026: This was a launch-day snapshot built on public list counts. We replaced it with a month of top-8 results, moved Yellow from "watchlist" to "no results yet," and dropped the list-count tiers, which counted the same lists several times.

The tier list

"Within AoT" matters. Across the whole format, Armin's 10 top 8s compare with 65 for Sung Jinwoo and 35 for Chainsaw Man in the same data. Attack on Titan is a mid-table title right now.

Red: the Attack on Titan deck to play

Red Attack on Titan is the old Vol.1 core with Vol.2 upgrades. The two cards it's named after are both from the first set. Armin Arlelt UE10BT/AOT-1-077 is a 4-energy, 3000 BP character whose When Played gives another character 1000 BP or widens the next BP range you target. Eren Jaeger UE10BT/AOT-1-092 has Raid and Impact 1. When he attacks, he puts another 104th Cadet Corps card from your front line on top of your deck, then plays a cheap red 104th Cadet Corps character from your hand for a second swing.

Blue Levi and Historia

Blue is the second Attack on Titan color with results. Erwin Smith, a Blue character, logged 6 top 8s, and the newest lists on his fan-site page are mostly Blue Levi builds. Bandai's two Blue recipes split into a Levi deck and a Historia deck; our Historia deck guide covers the second.

Yellow: still waiting

Yellow is Vol.2's headline. Bandai's product page calls it "the new color," and the set's showpiece is Eren Jaeger (Doomsday Titan) AOT-2-022: 13 energy and 8000 BP, cheaper by 5 while a Zeke card is on your field, with Raid, Impact 1 and a When Played that puts a Nine Titans card into play from your hand or sideline. Bandai published two Yellow recipes on September 10, alongside two each for Red, Blue and Green.

A month later, no Yellow Attack on Titan character appears in the fan tier list at all, and Bandai has no Attack on Titan top 4 of any color. That doesn't mean Yellow is bad. A 13-cost plan needs Zeke on the field first, and that takes testing. It does mean nobody has shown it winning yet. Our Yellow color guide explains the cards.

Getting the cards

Each pack has 12 cards from a pool of 73 card types plus 6 Action Point cards, at 4.99 USD MSRP. Boxes were hard to find at launch. One player on r/Union_Arena_TCG wrote the day after release that they'd "called every card store in my city and surrounding area over the last week" and found two stores getting boxes. Red is also the cheapest way in, since its two key characters are Vol.1 cards. The Vol.2 buying guide has more.

Our take

If you love Attack on Titan, play Red Armin. It's the one AoT deck with a real top-8 record, and its two key characters are Vol.1 cards. Don't expect it to beat Solo Leveling: Sung Jinwoo has more than six times as many top 8s in the same data. Yellow is the fun experiment, not the safe pick, until someone puts it in a top cut.
