Our callNew player? Get the all-foil Advanced Deck on November 6. Already playing Bleach? The Vol.3 booster lands November 13; check its card list before you buy a box.

New to Union Arena? Get the Bleach Advanced Deck. Already on Bleach? Union Arena Bleach Vol 3 is your pack. The two land a week apart in November, the deck first and the booster second. Bandai's North American card list now has both: the deck's 19 cards and all 87 Vol.3 cards, one of which already has an errata.

TL;DR: Union Arena Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Vol.3 (UEX08BT) releases November 13, 2026, with a pre-release on November 6, at $4.99 for a 12-card pack drawn from 81 card types plus 6 AP cards. The all-foil Advanced Deck (UE01DC) releases November 6 at $24.99: a 50-card Purple Ichigo and Rukia deck, 3 Action Point cards and a playsheet.

What Bandai confirms

Vol.3 booster (UEX08BT):

  • Release November 13, 2026; pre-release November 6, 2026
  • 12 cards per pack, 16 packs per display box, 16 display boxes per case
  • 81 card types plus 6 Action Point types: 28 C, 29 U, 12 R, 12 SR, 6 AP
  • Covers "The Conflict", the third part of the Thousand-Year Blood War anime, including Grimmjow, Aizen and the Stern Ritter
  • Foil-stamped signature cards from seven of the anime's voice cast, including Masakazu Morita (Ichigo) and Show Hayami (Aizen)
  • Serial-numbered, hand-signed AP cards at "an extremely low pull rate"
  • Alt-art cards are included; Bandai gives no rates

Advanced Deck (UE01DC):

  • Release November 6, 2026
  • One ready-to-play 50-card deck, 3 Action Point cards, 1 playsheet
  • 18 card types plus 1 AP type: the two brand-new SRs are Ichigo Kurosaki (BLC-4-082) and Rukia Kuchiki (BLC-4-083), and the other 16 are reprints with BLC-1 and BLC-2 card numbers
  • Built around Purple Ichigo and Rukia, and pitched as working with Vol.3
  • 4 decks per display box, 6 display boxes per case
  • Tournament legal from the pre-release date in your region

Bandai calls the Advanced Deck an all-foil deck that "goes beyond the standard Starter Deck" and is meant for players who missed Vol.1 or Vol.2 or are just starting. The NA Vol.3 page gives the rarity split above, and Bandai's October 30 update added the set to the NA card list card by card: BLC-4-001 to BLC-4-081 plus AP01 to AP06, with 29 parallel entries whose images are still placeholders. The Asia English version of the set (EX15BT, released September 11 with 8-card packs) has the same 87 numbers and the same 116 entries on Bandai's Asia English card list.

The same update carried Vol.3's first errata. On Ichibe Hyosube (BLC-4-056), the second ability should end "add 1 to the required energy range of the card you may play with this ability", not "of the character". Bandai says a corrected version of the card will not be made available, and the card list entry still shows the printed wording.

Two products, two jobs

The booster is how you add cards. The Advanced Deck is how you start. Bandai sells them as a pair: the deck page says the deck has "great synergy with Booster Pack Vol.3, released at the same time", and the deck lands on the booster's pre-release day. Bandai's Special Release Event runs at participating stores November 6 to 12, in either a sealed format with Vol.3 packs or a Constructed format whose recommended card pool lists the Advanced Deck. Its Bring Your Friend side event "aims to welcome new and returning players". So a new player can buy a deck on November 6 and play a Vol.3 event that same week.

The Advanced Deck costs roughly twice a regular Starter Deck, and per card it's only a few cents above a booster, with every card foil. If you want a ready Bleach deck and like foil, that's a fair deal. If you only want to learn the game, a Starter Deck is cheaper.

How to plan your Bleach buy

1. Decide if you're starting or adding. New players should look at the Advanced Deck. Existing Bleach players should look at the booster.

2. Mark November 6. It's both the Advanced Deck release and the Vol.3 pre-release, and cards from either are tournament legal from the pre-release date.

3. Expect store markups. Bandai's prices are MSRP; stores can charge more at launch.

4. Check the card list before buying boxes. The Advanced Deck's 19 cards and all 87 Vol.3 cards are on Bandai's NA card list now. Read it, and the Ichibe Hyosube errata, before you open a box.

5. Don't buy for a specific alt-art. Bandai says alt-art cards are in Vol.3 and the signed, serial-numbered AP cards come at "an extremely low pull rate", but it names no rates.

Our take

Buy the Advanced Deck if you're new or if Purple Ichigo is your deck already: two new SR cards and a full foil list for about the price of two starters is a good starter kit. Read the NA Vol.3 card list, now up, before you buy a booster box. A box is 192 cards from 87 possible card types, so duplicates are guaranteed, and buying blind on a third volume is how you end up with a binder of them.

How we checked this

We read Bandai's North American product pages for UEX08BT and UE01DC, the North American products index (for the Re:ZERO Starter Deck price) and the Asia English UA01DC page on October 14, 2026. On October 30, 2026 we reread both NA product pages and checked them against the Asia English and Japanese EX15BT pages, the NA and Asia English card lists for UE01DC, UA01DC and EX15BT, and Bandai's NA Special Release Event page. On October 31, 2026 we read the new NA card list entries for UEX08BT and Bandai's NA errata notice for Ichibe Hyosube. The per-card figures are our arithmetic from MSRP. Thirty-five sources in total.
