The official One Piece Card Game EN account confirmed the OP-17 release date on June 13, 2026: August 26, 2026, worldwide and simultaneously. The gap between Japanese and English launches is gone, starting now.
Bandai announced via the @ONEPIECE_tcg_EN account on X:
"The 4th Anniversary Booster Pack, OP-17 'THE WORLD'S STRONGEST WARRIORS,' is scheduled for release in August! Starting with this set, the Global Simultaneous Release will begin!"
Pre-orders are now live at retailer partners across the US, Europe, and Asia. Distributor sheets confirm the OP-17 release date as August 26, 2026, for the booster display.
The confirmed set details:

Two things make August 26 significant: the date itself, and how the launch actually works.
Every set from OP-01 through OP-16 followed the same pattern: Japan first, English two to three months later. EN players paid import premiums or waited while the JP meta developed without them. That's done now. Bandai framed this as a permanent policy change, not a one-time thing.
Practically: EN and JP prices start from the same baseline on the same day. Import arbitrage windows disappear. If you play in EN events, you're getting cards the same day as every other region.
OP-16 launched June 12, 2026 while JP product hit May 30. Admiral Manga Rares reached volatile JP highs before EN players had touched a pack. Under OP-17, that window doesn't exist.
OP-17 also introduces the Treasure Rare, a new rarity above Secret Rare. OP-16 topped out at Manga Rare and Secret Rare as its chase tiers. OP-17 adds one more layer: one Treasure Rare card per set. Bandai hasn't said which card gets it. Given the "nostalgic returning leaders" theme, whoever holds that slot will have collector demand that isn't tied to competitive results.
The OP-16 most expensive cards breakdown shows how concentrated value got around the Admiral Manga Rares. One Treasure Rare instead of three split Manga Rares probably means a higher ceiling for that specific card.
Six leaders are confirmed; specific names aren't public yet. "The World's Strongest Warriors" points toward high-power iconic characters from the franchise's early arcs. Official spoilers should start appearing ahead of August. The One Piece TCG OP-16 complete guide has current format context in the meantime.
