How the Big Mom Pirates Engine Works

Three pieces carry the deck, and each one is printed on Bandai's cards.

The ramp. Besides the leader, two Characters add DON!!. OP17-074OP17-074Shop on TCGplayer Yamato is a cost 3 Blocker whose On Play adds a DON!! card rested. The purple Charlotte Cracker ST34-002 (cost 4) adds a rested DON!! if your Leader is Big Mom Pirates, then K.O.s an opposing Character with a cost of 2 or less. The 2-cost Katakuri OP08-062 trashes itself to play a 3-cost-or-higher Katakuri from hand whose cost is equal to or less than the DON!! on your opponent's field, which is how the 6-cost Katakuri can hit the board early.

The Life. Yellow's OP-17 Big Mom Pirates cards rebuild Life on your turn. OP17-103OP17-103Shop on TCGplayer Charlotte Katakuri (cost 6, 4000 power) adds the top card of your deck to your Life if your Leader is Big Mom Pirates, then gives an opposing Character −3000 power. OP17-114OP17-114Shop on TCGplayer Sweet 3 Generals rests 2 DON!! to draw 1, add 1 to Life, and give up to 2 opposing Characters −3000. OP17-104OP17-104Shop on TCGplayer Charlotte Cracker (cost 3) rests 2 DON!! to add 1 to Life. All three carry "[Trigger] Play this card."

1. Ramp before you build Life. Use the leader's When Attacking ability early, and play Yamato or Cracker ST34-002 for extra rested DON!! so Linlin lands on time.
