EB-05 Card List: The Heroines Vol 2 Cards That Matter

Sixty-one new cards. The ones that changed decks first are mostly Rares, and the new Leader isn't one of them.

7 min readBy Kai Tanaka

Our callBuy the singles your deck needs, not a box. Ripley, a Rare, was the most-played EB-05 card in its first two events (25 of 248 lists). Box only if you're chasing the Secret Rare Nami or the SP cards.

Most of the EB-05 card list won't touch your deck. Seven or eight cards will, and the early results say who they're for: Red/Black Sabo, Cross Guild Buggy, Rosinante, Shirahoshi and Law. Most of those upgrades are Rares, so buy them as singles when Heroines Edition vol.2 lands on October 30. The new Nico Robin Leader is fun to build. It isn't a first pick yet.

EB-05 card list by color

Limitless has all 61 numbered cards with English text: 48 Characters, 12 Events and one Leader. Rarity runs 29 Common, 21 Rare, 9 Super Rare and a single Secret Rare. Bandai's own EB-05 card list, posted October 23, shows the same 61 numbers and the same split. Bandai's product page counts "75+2 types in total" and lists six SP cards plus a Kentaro Yabuki alt art on top, so the table below is the playable base list, not every printing.

The EB-05 cards that already made decks

EB-05 isn't legal on paper yet, but the online crowd didn't wait. Two simulator events on Limitless Play, ChinoizeCup #124 on October 19 and #125 the next night, opened the pool to EB-05. Between them, 248 players posted lists. Here's what they reached for.

Ripley: EB05-047EB05-047 card artEB05-047Shop on TCGplayer Ripley is a 4-cost Black Rare that "gains +12 cost" and, on play, lets you trash a card to bring back a 2-cost-or-less Character from your trash. That's a two-for-one body that also counts as a 16-cost Giant. Sabo players took to it at once: 20 of the 22 Sabo lists ran it, nearly always four copies. If you play the Red/Black Elbaph Sabo build, this is your first pickup.

Yamato: EB05-046EB05-046 card artEB05-046Shop on TCGplayer Yamato becomes an 8000-power Blocker whenever your opponent has a Character with 8000 base power or more, and with ten cards in your trash she can turn your Leader's base power into 7000 on their attack. Sabo again, at two or three copies. Reddit already names her as a problem for the new Robin Leader (more on that below).

Alvida: EB05-021EB05-021 card artEB05-021Shop on TCGplayer Alvida costs 9, draws two and puts a Cross Guild Character costing 8 or less into play for free, then negates a Character's effect every time she attacks. Every one of the 18 Cross Guild Buggy players ran four. When a whole deck agrees on a card in its first week, it's a staple.

You Need Me, Don't You?!!: EB05-040EB05-040 card artEB05-040Shop on TCGplayer You Need Me is a 0-cost Purple Event: return an active DON!! to draw three and trash one, provided your Leader is a Donquixote Pirate. All 12 Rosinante players ran it, and FlyestRaven took Rosinante to second at #125 on a 6-1 record.

Boa Hancock: EB05-028EB05-028 card artEB05-028Shop on TCGplayer This Hancock makes an opponent with nine or more cards in hand trash four. It's narrow, so lists run one or two, spread across Luffy, Hancock and Buggy.

Jewelry Bonney and Stussy: EB05-001EB05-001 card artEB05-001Shop on TCGplayer Bonney draws two and drops two 2000-power-or-less Characters for a Supernovas Leader, which is why every Law list had it. EB05-006EB05-006 card artEB05-006Shop on TCGplayer Miss Buckingham Stussy trades a Life card for +3000 or −4000 on a 2-cost body, and showed up in Law and Sabo.

Shirahoshi, twice: EB05-014EB05-014 card artEB05-014Shop on TCGplayer the 1-cost Shirahoshi digs five deep for two Megalo or Neptunian cards, and EB05-020EB05-020 card artEB05-020Shop on TCGplayer My name is Shirahoshi!! draws two for resting a Shirahoshi Leader. All 13 Shirahoshi players ran both, kevyzhou finished third at #125 on 6-1, and the Leader went 32-22 across the two nights. That's the best case for EB-05 reviving an old deck.

The cheap Purple pair, EB05-033EB05-033 card artEB05-033Shop on TCGplayer the 1-cost Nico Robin (draw three when you're far behind on DON!!) and EB05-034EB05-034 card artEB05-034Shop on TCGplayer Sugar (−4000 for two DON!! at seven or more), found homes in Luffy and Donquixote lists but not across the field. If your EB05-033 reads "O-Robi", it's a misprint: Bandai's errata notice says the card's name is Nico Robin, alt arts included, and corrected cards "are not available in some regions".

What EB-05 does to the OP-17 format

Less than the hype says. Tuesday's winner, donkaiser, went 7-0 on Rocks without a single EB-05 card, and Rocks was again the most-played Leader across both nights, as it was in our post-ban matchup chart. Monday's winner, volkiso, went 7-0 on Boa Hancock with only two copies of the new Hancock. If you're on the Rocks Xebec deck, EB-05 changes your opponents more than your list.

What it does is deepen the second tier. Sabo gets two Black 4-drops, Buggy gets a top end, Rosinante gets card draw and Shirahoshi gets a real engine. Keep the sample in mind: two online nights, seven Swiss rounds, best of one. OP-18 arrives on November 20 and will shake this up again; our OP-18 meta predictions cover what to watch.

The Nico Robin Leader: fun, not first

EB05-010EB05-010 card artEB05-010Shop on TCGplayer Nico Robin is a Green/Yellow Leader with 4 Life and 5000 power. When one of your Wisdom Characters without Blocker is K.O.'d, the top card of your deck goes onto your Life, and once a turn she sets a 6000-or-less Wisdom Character active. The plan is a board of 6000s that attack, stand back up and refill your Life when they trade.

Bandai's EB-05 key visual of Nico Robin in a yellow shirt standing behind Nami seated in a red armchair, on a pink map background Image: Bandai, ONE PIECE CARD GAME EB-05 key visual from the official product page.

Five players brought her to the EB-05 nights and none reached the top eight. Players on r/OnePieceTCG put a finger on why. u/OhPooks wrote that "she kinda gets ruined by any decks that can reasonably go above 7k base power", and new Yamato does exactly that. u/YowaiMooooooo found the counterplay from the other side: "Once opponents figure out they should avoid KO’ing your Wisdom characters so you don’t gain life, Robin starts struggling in the late game."

We'd build her for fun and locals, not for a Treasure Cup. Her Wisdom engine needs one or two more cards, and OP-18 may or may not bring them. Our EB05 Robin decklist guide has the two builds that placed best in the first EB-05 events.

Buying from the EB-05 card list: singles or a box

Players who want three or four specific cards. Ripley, You Need Me, Boa Hancock and My name is Shirahoshi!! are Rares, and Rares are the cheap end of singles once a set is out. Packs are $4.99 MSRP, and the Heroines Gift Collection is another way to get two packs with promos.

Collectors are the other story. The Secret Rare EB05-061EB05-061 card artEB05-061Shop on TCGplayer Nami, the six SP cards and the Yabuki alt art live in packs, so that's where a box makes sense. Bandai says EB-05 cards are tournament legal from the pre-release date in your region, so ask your store when that is.

Our take

Buy for the deck you already play. Sabo players should grab four Ripley and a couple of Yamato first, Buggy players four Alvida, Rosinante players four You Need Me. If you play none of those, wait a week: the paper results will tell you more than two simulator nights, and the singles will be cheaper.

How we checked this: card text from Limitless TCG's EB-05 card pages, cross-checked on October 24, 2026 against Bandai's official EB-05 card list and its EB05-033 errata notice; tournament counts from the Limitless Play API for ChinoizeCup #124 and #125, counted with our script on October 22, 2026.
