OP-18 chase cards: reported manga and Amano parallels

Gunko, Robin and two Amano pieces lead the talk. None of them is on a Bandai checklist yet.

10 min readBy Mika Santos

Our callDon't pay chase prices for OP-18 singles before release: every special treatment named so far is reported by trackers and stores, not confirmed by Bandai.

Hold off on pre-buying any OP-18 chase cards: the treatments people are talking about are still reports, not a Bandai rarity checklist. The conversation centers on a Saint Gunko treatment, Amano art for Loki and Saint Shamrock, and a manga-style Nico Robin parallel, and the outlets don't even agree on what to call the Robin card.

OP-18 booster packs arranged in an open display box beneath the set's red compass art

TL;DR: [Official] Bandai's product copy lists Water Seven, the Holy Knights of God, and 127+1 types. [Reported] OP-18 chase cards named by secondary pages include a God's Knights Super Parallel for Gunko OP18-065, Amano parallels for Loki and Saint Shamrock, and a manga or comic-style Robin OP18-031. None is presented here as an official rarity confirmation.

Checked October 22, 2026: The English product page, Japanese tracker page, retailer reports, and card trackers linked below were opened again, and Bandai's official card list still has no OP-18 entry. No prices or pull-rate estimates are used.

OP-18 chase cards: what is actually reported? (quick answer)

[Reported] The clearest named treatment is a God's Knights Super Parallel attached to Saint Gunko OP18-065 by TCG Portal and Samurai Sword Tokyo. The same reports name Yoshitaka Amano versions of Loki and Saint Shamrock. Nico Robin OP18-031 is described as a manga or comic-style parallel, though outlets vary in the exact label.

[Official] Bandai's English product page confirms the set's themes and overall type count. Its product-page copy does not assign the individual treatments below to rarity slots. For the broader roster, the OP-18 card list tracker keeps source tiers beside each card number.

Key Takeaways

  • [Reported] Saint Gunko OP18-065 is listed with the new God's Knights Super Parallel treatment by secondary sources.
  • [Reported] Amano art is associated with Loki OP17-119 and Saint Shamrock OP18-119; the Loki code is an OP-17 number.
  • [Official] Bandai's English X account confirms two Amano-illustrated characters in OP-18 but does not name them.
  • [Reported] Nico Robin OP18-031 has a manga or comic-style parallel, but the wording varies by outlet.
  • [Official] The English product page gives 127+1 types and set themes, not a card-by-card rarity breakdown.
  • [Editorial] No price ranking, pull rate, or investment claim is made here.

Overview: base rarity and parallel treatment are different labels

A base card and its alternate art can share a printed number. A rarity label describes the source's classification of the underlying card; a parallel label describes a reported print or art treatment. Those words are easy to blur in a spoiler headline, especially when one outlet says “Manga Rare” and another says “Comic Parallel.”

For OP-18 chase cards, keeping those two labels apart prevents an art report from becoming an unsupported base-rarity claim.

The table below keeps the printed identity, reported base rarity, and reported treatment in separate columns. Each source tier stays visible. “Reported” means the claim was found in a secondary list or retailer article. It does not mean Bandai has confirmed that exact card treatment in its English product-page copy.

The OP-18 chase cards table is a report index, not a checklist of confirmed premium slots.

CardReported base identityReported treatmentTier and source note

OP-18 chase cards: the Gunko treatment

[Reported] TCG Portal lists OP18-065 under a Japanese category translated as “God's Knights Super Parallel.” Samurai Sword Tokyo's October 6 report calls it a new 4th-anniversary rarity for Saint Gunko. Both attach the treatment to the Character card OP18-065, which is separate from the Saint Gunko Leader OP18-060.

That separation is useful because “Gunko” alone can point to two reported cards. The Leader and the Character have different numbers and base roles in the secondary lists. The special treatment described here is attached to OP18-065, not a blanket label for every Gunko card in the set.

The official page confirms Saint Gunko's game debut, but the page copy does not name this treatment. The evidence tier stays Reported even though multiple pages use the same phrase. Samurai Sword Tokyo attributes the detail to Tier One, meli-melo, and a FamilyMart lottery article. [Inference from that attribution] Some outlets may share an underlying reporting chain rather than provide independent confirmation.

OP-18 chase cards: Amano parallels for Loki and Saint Shamrock

[Reported] TCGroupAU says Amano created original illustrations for Loki and Saint Shamrock. TCG Portal lists an Amano parallel for Loki OP17-119 and Saint Shamrock OP18-119, including foil-stamped versions. Samurai Sword Tokyo also reports standard and foil versions for each character.

[Official] Bandai's English account confirms the Amano part, without names. Its August post says OP-18 "features 2 colossal characters illustrated by the legendary artist Yoshitaka Amano." Which two characters, and in which rarity slot, still comes only from the reports above.

For OP-18 chase cards, the Amano reports identify two characters, but they do not supply a verified pull rate or sale value.

The Loki number is the detail most likely to confuse a set checklist. Cardlogs describes OP17-119 as a Loki reprint in an SP slot, and TCG Portal associates the Amano art with OP17-119. That gives the card an OP-17 number even when a source discusses its appearance in the OP-18 product. The OP-18 chase cards table therefore keeps the printed OP17-119 code rather than relabeling it as an OP18 card.

For Saint Shamrock, the current trackers report OP18-119 as a Black Secret Rare before its Amano treatment. A parallel does not change the printed card number in the source listing. The foil variant is another reported treatment; it is not evidence of an extra numbered card. That distinction is why this OP-18 chase cards table keeps treatment and base identity in separate columns.

OP-18 chase cards: Nico Robin's manga-style report

[Reported] TCGroupAU calls Nico Robin OP18-031 a “Super Parallel / Manga treatment.” Cardlogs describes a manga-art version, while Samurai Sword Tokyo uses a Comic-Parallel-style Super Parallel label. TCG Portal places OP18-031 in a Super Parallel category. That overlap supports a reported manga-style artwork treatment, but not a settled official rarity name.

Among the reported OP-18 chase cards, Robin has the clearest terminology split across the sources checked here.

The distinction matters for a collector checklist. Calling a card a Manga Rare may imply a specific rarity slot, while “manga-style” can describe the art without settling the official classification. Until a Bandai card-list entry provides the printed label, this OP-18 chase cards report uses the more cautious description and records the wording difference.

No price prediction follows from the art report. The sources cited here do not provide release-day sales for these versions, and pre-release listing prices are not sale history. This OP-18 chase cards preview therefore leaves prices out. The OP-18 pre-order guide covers product terms and official regional pricing without using a chase-card premium as a reason to buy sealed product.

What to verify before buying OP-18 chase cards

[Advice] Before buying OP-18 chase cards, match a listing to a printed card number first. For Gunko, separate OP18-060 Leader from OP18-065 Character. For Robin, check OP18-031. For Saint Shamrock, check OP18-119. For Loki, the reported Amano art is attached to OP17-119. A character name by itself is not enough to distinguish a base card from its parallel.

[Advice] Keep the source label with any OP-18 chase cards checklist you maintain. Write “reported by TCG Portal” or “reported by Samurai Sword Tokyo” beside the treatment, then update it only when a stronger source appears. This avoids converting a translated collector label into a confirmed Bandai rarity by repetition.

[Editorial] I have not ranked OP-18 chase cards by expected price or pull difficulty. A treatment can be visually distinctive without proving what it will sell for. That answer needs actual release data, not a preview headline.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which OP-18 chase cards are currently reported?

[Reported] Current OP-18 chase cards reports center on Saint Gunko OP18-065, Amano illustrations for Loki and Saint Shamrock, and a manga or comic-style Nico Robin OP18-031 treatment. Bandai's product page gives set-level details but does not name those individual rarity treatments.

Is Gunko OP18-065 officially a new rarity?

[Reported] Samurai Sword Tokyo and TCG Portal list a God's Knights Super Parallel treatment for Gunko OP18-065. Bandai's English product-page copy does not name that rarity, so this article keeps the detail in the reported tier and separates the Character from Gunko's OP18-060 Leader.

Which cards are reported to have Yoshitaka Amano art?

[Reported] The sources name Loki and Saint Shamrock. TCG Portal associates the Loki parallel with OP17-119 and Saint Shamrock with OP18-119. Samurai Sword Tokyo reports standard and foil versions for both, but these details remain outside Bandai's English product-page copy.

Is Nico Robin OP18-031 a Manga Rare?

[Reported] Outlets describe a manga or comic-style parallel, but use different labels. Some say Super Parallel or Comic Parallel, while another says Manga treatment. Until Bandai's card list settles the wording, this page uses the descriptive phrase manga-style parallel.

Can I estimate the OP-18 pull rate or price from these reports?

[Editorial] No pull-rate calculation or price ranking appears here. The listed sources identify reported treatments, not confirmed per-pack odds or post-release sale prices. Wait for product opening data and completed sales before treating a chase estimate as a market measurement.
